Washington State Arts Commission: Artist in Residence -- Writers
WSAC supports the contributions of individual artists to education by funding artist residencies in public schools and other settings in Washington State. Artists in residence present workshops for students and classroom teachers. Some also provide educational services for other not-for-profit organizations that receive residency grants, and a select group provide teacher in-services in the arts.

WSCTE is a professional organization that encourages the pursuit of excellence in the teaching of English in Washington State in public and private schools and colleges.
